Valentine's Day is said to be a holiday of love and gift giving between lovers. In Spanish this holiday is usually called "Dia de Amor y Amistad," the direct translation is "The Day of Love and Friendship." Instead of having an "Anti-Valentine's Day," celebrate it with a friend. My good friend Genesis and I celebrated our Valentine's Day in a Southern California way which is fine dining by the beach and enjoying the view. When our day came to a close, we even found baked goods at home! So next Valentine's Day, if you don't have a Valentine, spend time with your loved ones or a good friend. Don't give up!
