Valentine's Day is said to be a holiday of love and gift giving  between lovers. In Spanish this holiday is usually called "Dia de Amor y Amistad," the direct translation is "The Day of Love and Friendship." Instead of having an "Anti-Valentine's Day," celebrate it with a friend. My good friend Genesis and I celebrated our Valentine's Day in a Southern California way which is fine dining by the beach and enjoying the view. When our day came to a close, we even found baked goods at home! So next Valentine's Day, if you don't have a Valentine, spend time with your loved ones or a good friend. Don't give up! There's always an alternative to this very holiday. Stay positive and hope you all had a great Valentine's Day!

I know it's been a while since I last posted something on this blog, I've been pretty busy with work and what not but I promise more projects to be posted soon. For now here is a video I created of my trip to Africa that I took back in October. Hope you all enjoy it, it's my first video.

This fall/winter is a very colorful for this time of year, especially in fashion and living in southern California it's rather warm compared to most places. The advantage of a "SoCal 

winter" is being able to wear brights and without having to layer. Although sometimes I wish for a white winter and the fashions that follow, I'll make due for the great weather and light clothing.

I'm a bit nervous since this is my first time jetsetting out of North America to a foreign country and continent. Where am I going you ask? I'm going to Africa, Ethiopia to be exact. My purpose is to go on a medical-missionary trip, where citizens lack any type of health care. Also with the knowledge I have acquired from working at the clinics as well as school, I will be exercising and practicing a bit of physical therapy. I hope all goes well and wish me much luck. I hope I can give the proper exercises and education about the human body. Let the adventures begin...
